Heart in Hand

H&H and me.

I met this woman today. She used to blog and will again if I have anything to do with it. I have never met another blogger before so I was a little nervous. (H&H- I forgot to tell you I shaved my legs for this! ha!) Some of you know her and if you don’t you are missing out. She is definitely one of the cool kids of the blogging world.

We sat down and talked and talked and talked. Three hours worth of talking that seemed like 20 minutes. If you have read her blog she is just as cool and genuine in person. We talked about a million different things with no awkward momentsย  without conversation. I felt like we just started off where we left off the last time we saw each other. Not only is she a cool blogger she is just an amazing person who is kind and compassionate and a great listener. She is funny and look at her, cute as a button!

H&H , if you are ever back this way let me know.

  1. Oh how fun! I have met a few bloggers, one of whom I stayed in her house for a couple nights on my trip! I have a very special meet up date set up for in August too….more to be announced! I am so happy for you Birdie. It’s really wonderful to meet our blogger friends in real life and feel that connection.

  2. How wonderful and exciting! I would feel the same way, Birdie. It’s that moment of truth..is she who I think she is? I ‘m so glad that you enjoyed your self!
I always wish that I could meet a blogger too. They feel like real friendships and it would be nice to feel that in person.
Good for you, but I doubt she would have cared about the shaved legs thing…none of us really do ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. So fun! I bet she’s a real ball of fire in person because she certainly was on her blog. Heart in Hand, I hope you start blogging again sometime! Fab photo of you both, BTW.

  4. Oh my dear! It was a day, right?! (I shaved my legs too!)
Everyone who reads you should know what a good egg you really are! Your personality has always shone through in your words, your genuineness and authenticity have been obvious, but to hear it “in real life” is just heartwarming! I always thought I’d like you and now I know that I DO!
Thank you for the kind words about my blogging (and lack thereof!) if anything would inspire me to come back to it, it would be meeting sweet souls like you!
There are no dress rehearsals, this is our (blogging) life. I encourage everyone who reads you who comes to Undisclosed-City-On-Vancouver-Island to look you up! You won’t be disappointed! (Unless you were expecting a killer, then you will be.)
Until we meet again, my friend! Cheers!

    • Hello Heart! It’s so good to see what you look like. You and Birdie were both a tremendous support to me back when I started my (now closed) blog. For that I ‘ll always be grateful. I’m so glad you and Birdie were able to meet and connect. ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

  5. How cool. It’s nice when the people you’ve come to know online, are exactly what you’d expect. I have met a few bloggers as well.. never disappointing.

  6. What a treat to see this photo! I am an avid reader of anything our Ms H-in-H writes and I miss her blog terribly. She always made me laugh out loud ( so essential to good mental health, don’t you think?) and never wrote one dull word, unless it was about her periods and toileting habits. Hee! That’s what I loved best: real life, shared.
