Same Shit, Different Day

I went and got a new universal GPS mount for my car but this time I got wise and connected it before I left the store parking lot. I ended up spending double the price but I am quite confident it is going to be better than the first one.

My neck and back are sore. I could make that a tag line of every blog post I write. My neck and back are never not sore. It just has varying degrees of sore. It is numb on the upper right side of my body. And it makes me so tired I just want to sleep to get a break from it. This is why I can’t keep at my job until I am 70.

I was going to talk about something else but I am so tired I forgot what it was.

That was written yesterday and I am not any less tired today. I am not sure how I even got through my day. All day long I was counting down the hours and minutes until I could come home and sleep.

My daughter, I feel so bad for her, has terrible periods. Her cramps are really, really bad. So bad that she throws up over and over. Her periods are also so heavy that she has ruined almost all her clothes. When I was her age I had the same problem and I ended up going on the pill. My mom had the same problem. I really thought by the time I had a daughter that there would be a better way for women to deal with painful and heavy periods besides going on the pill. Not only that, I thought that birth control would be covered through our health care system or extended health. WTF? Have we really not made any progress as women in the last 30 years? Appears not.

  1. I had heavy periods, too. I’m happy to say that I’ve left them behind, and do not miss them. Hope your neck and back pain improves. Feel better.

  2. The pill really isn’t covered? Actually now that I think about it, it wasn’t covered on my ex husband’s plan either. As you say, WTF!

  3. Sorry to hear about the periods for your daughter and that yo all shared it. Horrible.

I get what you mean about the tired. It can super duper suck monkey balls.

    Been there, sista.
